About the author

Albert Pinching moved to Hornsey having lived in Wood Green for forty years. By profession a polymer technologist and technical manager in the cable-making and telecomms industries, he has contributed to the life of HHS since the late 1980s. Albert was HHS Bulletin editor for 14 years. He has contributed articles to a range of publications and specialises in the history of Wood Green. Sadly, Albert died in July 2021. There was a tribute to Albert in the Islington Tribune which gave a short overview of his life.
