About the author
Albert Pinching was a Wood Green resident for forty years before moving to Hornsey. By profession a polymer technologist and technical manager in the cable-making and telecomms industries, he contributed to the life of HHS from the late 1980s until his death in 2021. Albert was HHS Bulletin editor for 14 years. He contributed articles to a range of publications and specialised in the history of Wood Green.
