Once Upon a Time in Crouch End 1860 – 1980 is a Shared Learning Project organised by the Crouch and District University of the Third Age and Hornsey Historical Society. The planned display of this project, which was to be very generously accommodated by the ArtHouse Cinema in April and May has, unfortunately, had to be postponed but do look out for details in the Autumn.
This is a project that brings together members of the Crouch End U3A and the Hornsey Historical Society. This enabled six people who have an interest in the history of Crouch End, but little or no experience of local history research, to discuss their ideas, research and together this exhibition of images from the extensive material in the HHS archive and interpret them to tell this pictures story of Crouch End.
