These stories are from Fred Clark’s reminiscences of the interesting people he met, and of some of the problems and pleasures which came to him and his growing family.

Fred Clarke and his new bride came to live in Wood Green in 1948. His brother, Arthur C Clarke, already a successful writer, came to live with the newly-weds, and this arrangement worked happily until Arthur made his permanent home in Colombo, Ceylon, in 1961.
