The Voice of the Hall Sean Azzopardi will be presenting a two part talk covering his cartoonist/self-publishing career and his new project The Voice of the Hall as part of the Crouch End Festival. A graphic novel To develop and publish this book he was awarded a grant for the Arts from the Arts Council of England. The Voice of the Hall is about Hornsey Town Hall, North London. Built in 1935 it was the first Modernist building in England. Its 80-year history of modernism to gentrification is narrated by the building itself. The graphic novel is now complete and copies will be available on the day. Tickets Entrance is free, but you need to book to ensure entry.
