The Two Faithful Servants

The story of the Two Faithful Servants plaque is moving towards a very satisfactory conclusion and featured this week in the local press. The story featured in this week’s Ham & High and includes interviews with Victoria Midwinter, the Muswell Hill resident who found the plaque in her back garden, and the HHS’s John Hinshelwood who managed to track down an abstract of Mary Parson’s will in the National Archive.

As seen in the Public Notice issued in early September, a place has been found for the plaque’s installation on the internal flank wall to the turret stairs of St Mary’s Church Tower.  We look forward to its return.
