The Evolution of Hornsey Town Hall

Hornsey Town Hall

As part of this years Crouch End Festival Steve Amor  tells the story of Hornsey Town Hall from the decision to build in Crouch End to the opening ceremony in 1935 – illustrated with remarkable archive photos from the Nobbs archive.


Entrance is free, but you do need to book. Tickets can be booked online at  Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre website.

About Steve Amor

Steve Amor has been a Haringey Council Property specialist for the past 20 years, dealing with the whole range of council buildings and especially the historic. Steve has worked on refurbishments and conservation projects at Bruce Castle Museum, Hornsey Library, Muswell Hill Library and for a number of years Hornsey Town Hall among other sites.

Steve is also a trained graphic artist specialising in architecture and has drawn structures around Britain and Europe for over 30 years, and has held many exhibitions of his work.
