Stories and Songs of the Great War: 100 years on

The painting "From Ghent to Wood Green, 1914–1918"

Come along for a commemorative event of the 100th anniversary of the First World War and hear stories and songs about local people who went to war during 1914-1918.

Deborah Hedgecock (Curator, Bruce Castle Museum) is joined by Patricia Hammond (mezzo singer) and Matt Redman (musical-instrumentalist), from the Stroud Green Festival’s ‘WW1 Through Stories and Songs’ project.

Doors open

Doors open at 12 noon. This is a “munch and lunch event”. Just bring your lunch and listen. Refreshments available.
