Exploring Ada Lovelace Today

7th March 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Ada Lovelace by Chalon

To mark Women’s History Month, local actress and playwright Louise Breckon-Richards will give a talk on mathematician Ada Lovelace at Muswell Hill Library.

Louise has been commissioned to write a new play on Lovelace, and the talk will cover the fascinating history she has uncovered.  Using characters in new and imaginative ways, she will explore what Ada means to us today.

About Louise Breckon-Richards

Louise has worked at the National Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse and the English Shakespeare Company.  She has also worked in television and film.  Her plays include Four O’Clock Flowers (Space Arts Centre) and The Cloak of Visibility (Mountview Academy Catalyst Festival).

This is a free event and all are welcome.
