Curious Crouch End
8th December 2021 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

HHS member Andrew Whitehead, author of the just published Curious Crouch End, talks about why he finds N8 so intriguing and enlivening – a presentation which takes in everything from the high point of 1960s student protest to a pioneering women’s football match, from a haunted house to the cathedral of a Nigeria-based Christian denomination, from Hitler’s sister-in-law to Bob Dylan.
However well you know Crouch End, this talk will offer a fresh vantage point on one of London’s most characterful and, yes, curious localities
