This online talks looks at the evidence for some of the earliest inhabitants of these islands, from almost a million years ago, including one of the most incredible archaeological discoveries of the past decade. Prehistory is not set in stone
Our knowledge is constantly evolving due to new discoveries, or by re-examining old evidence with new technologies. Using the latest research in British archaeology, Graham Harrison introduces his personal highlights from our most ancient past.
About the speaker
Graham has a passion for military and social history, and also has a particular enthusiasm for the skills and technology of our prehistoric ancestors. He has many years’ experience as an historical re-enactor, interpreter and community artist as well as working for the NHS as a patient simulator, involved in the training of doctors and other medical staff.
